The Autism Cares Foundation recognizes PharMethod, Inc. by awarding them its first ever “Corporate Recognition Award”
Trevose, PA, May 18 – The Autism Cares Foundation, an organization whose primary focus revolves around improving the life experiences for children and young adults with autism today, recently recognized PharMethod CEO David Kovalcik, along with David’s Bridal CEO - Mr. Bob Huth, Petroleum Recycling Corporation CEO - Ms. Christine Paul, TayganPoint Consulting Group CEO - Joy Taylor, and several other companies with its first ever Corporate Recognition Award.
The award, presented on May 2, 2011 during the 2nd Annual Autism Cares Foundation Auction and Gala, was a show of appreciation to those corporate partners whose “contributions help the organization provide an environment that enriches the life experiences of an individual with autism whereby he/she can engage in the type of play and other activities that other children enjoy”. Over the years, corporate contributions have ranged in size and type from monetary, to auction items, to equipment donations, to other in kind gifts. A statement provided by AutismCares reads, “With ongoing support, corporate partners help to create an on-going calendar of events and activities that children and young adults with autism can participate in on a regularly scheduled basis. “ This was the first year that Autism Cares actually presented the recognition award publically.

PharMethod, Inc launches PharmaCAST iPhone app for mobile viewing of live webcasts
Trevose, PA, February 16 – On Tuesday, PharMethod launched a PharmaCAST webcast viewing app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Available for free from the iTunes store, the new app gives PharmaCAST virtual event attendees the ability to attend PharMethod hosted webcasts from the road. The app includes all of the major functionality of webcast viewing. Participants can watch the live, real-time speaker; see the presenter slides as they change with the presentation; or text chat to engage with the presenter. These features lead the competition in mobile access to virtual events.

This series of podcasts was created to educate pharmaceutical marketers who are looking to strengthen their understanding of virtual events for promotional marketing in the pharmaceutical marketplace. Topics of discussion will feature an array of different critical industry questions. On July 15, 2010, the first episode will address the question “What are some strategies to draw high attendance for webcasts,” as answered by Dave Kovalick, CEO of Pharmethod. Mr. Kovalick will host a five minute discussion about what it takes to draw in the maximum number of individuals to a pharmaceutical webcast.
